Starting from age 4, this class offers a well-rounded dance education, blending the precision and rhythmic elements of tap with the expressive and versatile movements of jazz. Students will develop their technical skills, musicality, and performance abilities, all while having a blast in a supportive and vibrant learning environment. Ballet/Tap Dance
Experience the perfect blend of grace and rhythm with our Ballet & Tap Combination Class at White Bluff Ballet & More! Tailored for children ages 5 and up, this class introduces students to both the elegance of ballet and the lively, energetic movements of tap. Your child will build strength, coordination, and musicality while learning essential techniques in each style. Whether they’re new to dance or have some prior experience, our Ballet & Tap Combo Class offers a creative and engaging way for students to explore the artistry of ballet and the joy of tap dancing.
Pro Tap Dance
Pro Tap—Where Rhythm Becomes Precision
Our Pro Tap Class is an invitation-only program for dancers ready to train with greater focus, responsibility, and drive. After 1–2 years of foundational training at White Bluff Ballet & More, dancers may be invited based on commitment, attitude, coachability, and readiness for increased expectations.
In this class, students master complex rhythms, sharp footwork, performance-level choreography, and stage confidence. It’s where dedication meets artistry, and dancers learn to perform with discipline, sync, and intention—because every routine depends on each dancer owning their part.
For dancers ready to step up, refine their craft, and bring the beat to life, Pro Tap is where training turns into performance—only at White Bluff Ballet & More.
Dress Code
All Tap & Jazz Classes are Co-Ed
- Tap Dance Shoes will be provided for class by White Bluff Ballet & More
- If you would like to bring your own shoes, they must be black
For Ladies:
- Any combination of black and/or ballet pink color leotard, tights, and ballet skirt must be worn to participate in class. (except during Summer Camp)
- No ballet dresses, costumes or off color outfits will be permitted in class
- Hair must be put up into a bun
- Messy buns are permitted
For Gentlemen:
- Basketball shorts and T-shirts are acceptable
- No rude or profane text/pictures are allowed
Any and all failure to adhere to the dress code will result in the dancer being asked to sit out of class with no refund!
Why is dress code so important?
First and foremost, safety. Dancers with incorrect shoes can injure themselves. Second, excellence and discipline. We believe in giving our best and being excellent in everything that we do. Dress Code reflects that attitude and mentality.
